Conte commented on the clip of his fight with the Chelsea coach

Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte commented on a quarrel with Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel at the end of the confrontation between them yesterday, Sunday, for the second round of the Premier League tournament.

The cameras followed the stormy truce between the coaches after skirmishes between the two sides in a match that ended in a two-goal draw.

Conte said in statements broadcast by the British network BBC Sport: “Fight with Tuchel? I think it’s better to talk about the match. It was a difficult match for both teams and we are trying to be competitive in every match.”

He continued: “Chelsea have shown that they are a really good team and compared to last season they have done well, but if we want to create problems for Chelsea in the table, we have to be better.”

In the 68th minute of the confrontation, a fierce quarrel broke out between the coaches of the two teams, after Hoybjerg scored a goal and reduced the difference in favor of Tottenham.

Conte frantically celebrated the goal, which caused Tuchel to get involved in a strong brawl, which was filmed by the match camera and photographers’ lenses.

After the end of the match, Conte shook hands with his counterpart Tuchel, but the latter seemed angry because the Italian did not look at him, which caused an argument between them again, and the referee gave them a red card in the face.
