Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps killed in Syria

Iranian news agency Mehr reported that the commander of the ground forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps was killed in Syria, where he was on a “consultative mission.”

The agency said that “Abu al-Fadl Alijani” was killed at dawn today, Monday, in Syria, “while on an advisory mission there.”

He added that Alijani from Isfahan was one of the officers of the ground forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and a military adviser in Syria.
