The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced sanctions against US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in response to her visit to Taiwan.
“Pelosi is seriously interfering in China’s internal affairs and seriously undermining China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity with his visit to Taiwan,” the ministry said in a statement, noting the imposition of sanctions against Pelosi and her family members.
