The draw for the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations, in which the Moroccan Olympic team played on Friday, placed them in a difficult group on paper and Egypt in an accessible group.
The draw for the tournament, which will be held in Morocco from June 24 to July 8, is as follows:
Group A: Morocco, Ghana, Congo, Guinea
Group B: Egypt, Mali, Gabon, Niger

The top three players from the African nations qualify for the Olympic Games next summer in Paris, while the fourth player will face their counterpart in the same rankings at the AFC U-23 Nations Cup.
