Bloomberg: America’s richest lost $93 billion in one day

America’s richest lost a total of $93 billion on Tuesday as assets declined after the Labor Department released new inflation data, Bloomberg reported today.

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is down $9.8 billion, Tesla founder Elon Musk is down $8.4 billion, Facebook Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is down $5.6 billion, and Google founder Larry Page Sergey Brin is down $5.6 billion, according to the agency. $5.2 billion and $4.9 billion respectively, Warren Buffett, president of Berkshire Hathaway – $3.4 billion and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates – $2.8 billion.

As Ellen Bloomberg noted, it was “the ninth largest one-day write-down of business assets” since the inception of the Billionaires Index.

Musk currently ranks first on the list of the richest people on the planet, his fortune is estimated at $ 256 billion.
