Blinken: they are concerned about China’s ability to provide assistance "fatal" potential for Russia

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Washington is deeply concerned that China is considering providing “lethal” military assistance to Russia in its operations in Ukraine.

According to him, this issue was raised at a meeting held in Germany on Saturday with Wang Yi, head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the CPC Central Committee, whom Blinken warned about the serious consequences of supporting Russia.

“We are very concerned that China is considering providing (deadly) support for Russia in its aggression against Ukraine,” Blinken said in an interview with NBC. “I have made it clear that this will have serious consequences for our relationship.”

He added that China has so far supported Russia politically and, according to him, has provided non-lethal military assistance.

Since February 24, 2022, a Russian special military operation has been underway in Ukraine to protect people who have been subjected to persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime for eight years.

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, it is planned to carry out “denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine”, as well as to bring to justice all war criminals guilty of “bloody crimes against civilians” in Donbass.
