The Republican Party called Joe Biden “out of touch with reality” after the 80-year-old Democratic president announced his decision to run in the 2024 US presidential election.
The Republican National Committee said: “Biden is so out of touch with reality that, by causing one crisis after another, he considers himself worthy of another four years.”
And she warned that if he won, “inflation will continue to skyrocket, crime rates will continue to rise, more fentanyl will cross our open borders, and American families will get worse.”
This statement came after Biden announced his intention to run in the 2024 US presidential election today, Tuesday.
His deputy Kamala Harris also announced her candidacy for vice president, calling the 2024 election “a turning point in American history.”
