“I don’t think the conflict in Ukraine can be resolved before (Russian President Vladimir) Putin decides to leave Ukraine,” he added in a press statement.
At the same time, the administration of US President Joe Biden has continued to provide military support to Kyiv since the beginning of the crisis, and the Pentagon announced on Thursday that it was providing Kyiv with a new $400 million US military aid package, including aviation. protection systems and a large number of different ammunition.
Russia has consistently warned that continued Western military support for Kyiv would prolong the conflict and also make the United States a party to it.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that Moscow was and remains ready for negotiations with Ukraine, noting that the Kyiv regime decided not to continue them.
