Barcelona’s first deal.. Barcelona announces Casey’s official inclusion

Spanish club Barcelona announced on Monday its official contract with the Italian player from Côte d’Ivoire Franck Kessy, who will support the team’s attack during this summer’s Mercato.

Barcelona greeted the player on Twitter: “Done… Hey Casey.”

Barcelona said on their official website: “The club has reached an agreement with Frank Kessy and he will sign by 30 June 2026, with his release clause amounting to 500 million euros.”

He added: “The club will introduce Casey next Wednesday, where he will sign contracts at the Sports City and then wear the club jersey at the Tito Vilanova Stadium before holding his press conference.”

And the player, who won the Italian championship with his side AC Milan last season, joined the Blaugrana in a free transfer deal, one of the first deals that Barcelona officially announced his contract.

The Ivorian played 5 seasons in the shirt of the Italian club after he moved to it from Atalanta in the summer of 2017, and in 5 seasons managed to play 214 games in Calcio, and scored 36 goals for the Rossoneri.

Barcelona managed to include Casey on a free deal after his Milan contract expired on 30 June.

Many reports have reportedly confirmed that Barcelona have also signed Dane Andreas Christensen on a free deal and he will be joining the Catalan club in the coming days.
