AC Milan survived a 1-1 loss to hosts Atalanta in a match that brought them together on Sunday evening, as part of the second round of the Italian Football League of the season (2022-2023).
The hosts took the lead thanks to a goal from Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky in the 29th minute of the first half.
Algerian midfielder Ismail Bennacer saved the Rossoneri from defeat by equalizing the score in the 68th minute of the match.
Milan squandered the first two points at the start of Calcio’s title defense campaign, which is their first-round victory over visiting Udinese (4-2), and settled for one point to lift them up to four points and they rank third place in the standings, pending results. Another match in this round.
