Almeria won the Spanish second division cup last May to return to the league after being absent for 7 seasons, while Al Hilal won the Saudi Pro League title on Monday.
Al-Hilal won the Saudi Pro League title with a valuable 2-1 victory over Al Faisali at the end of the 30th round of the tournament at the King Fahd International Stadium.
Al-Hilal increased their lead to 67 points ahead of Al-Ittihad Jeddah (65 points) who equalized Al-Batin with no goals.
