Al Ahli picked up a hard-fought 1-0 victory over their guest, Ceramica Cleopatra, on Monday at the Cairo International Stadium in the postponed meeting between the two in the 27th leg of the Egyptian Football League.

Al-Ahly’s winning goal was scored by Hussein Al-Shahat in the 57th minute to give the Red Genie their sixth straight win.

With this win, Al-Ahly raised their tally to 62 points, securing their top position in the Egyptian League standings, four points behind their nearest rival Pyramids, noting that Al-Ahly had four rescheduled matches. .

On the other hand, Ceramica suffered a second loss in a row under their new coach Helmi Tolan, replacing the Tunisian Moina Chaabani, who moved to coach Esperance de Tunis, and his balance sheet froze at 31 points in 12th place.
