Washington called for the need to maintain high oil production to “support global economic growth” after the OPEC+ group agreed to cut supplies to boost falling prices.
White House press secretary Karen-Jean-Pierre said in a statement that President Joe Biden “made it clear that energy supplies must meet demand to support economic growth and lower prices for American consumers and around the world.”
