Zakharova: "The caravan moves on and the dogs bark"

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on Kyiv’s calls to expel Russia from the UN with the words: “The caravan is moving, but the dogs are barking.”

When asked how Russia should react to such statements, Zakharova told Sputnik radio: “Nothing, and don’t move. That’s right: the caravan is moving, but the dogs are barking.”

She continued, “In recent years and decades, many rascals have appeared. They completely destroyed the country, pushing it to the edge of the abyss. This must be taken into account and taken into account, and our policy should be built accordingly … listening to these painful statements and expressions in which there is neither content, nor historical logic, nor even an understanding of what this can lead to, even just imagining … about such statements are not worth thinking at all.”

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, in a statement on Monday, called for Russia’s exclusion from the UN, despite the fact that this is impossible under the organization’s charter, since Russia has a veto in the organization’s main body, the Security Council.
