Xi Jinping and Putin Strengthen Sino-Russian Partnership in Beijing

Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said that under the leadership of the leaders of the two countries, the all-round strategic partnership between Beijing and Moscow will be strengthened.

“The presidents of Russia and China maintain close relations. This is the compass of bilateral relations. We are convinced that under the strategic leadership of the leaders of the two countries, the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and China will become even stronger in the new era,” Qin Gang said.

On the other hand, Qin Gang emphasized that Russian-Chinese relations are not directed against third parties and do not pose a threat to other countries. “Relations between Russia and China are characterized by non-alignment, non-confrontation and non-direction against third parties.”

He pointed out that relations between the two countries “do not pose a threat to any country in the world, do not tolerate interference and provocations from third parties.”
