White House: Washington does not put pressure on Kyiv for negotiations with Moscow

National Security Adviser to the President of the United States Jake Sullivan said that Washington does not put pressure on Kyiv in the matter of negotiations with Moscow, but provides Kyiv with advice and support.

When asked by journalists whether the United States is pushing Ukraine towards peace talks with Russia, he said: “We are not putting pressure on Ukraine, we are not insisting on anything. What we do is advise as partners and show our support.”

Sullivan added that he was not ready today to assess the possibility of any negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow.
