US military warns "A million forces" The Ukrainian woman will not be defeated if she goes south

Writing for 19Fortyfive, retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis warned that the Ukrainian army would suffer a bitter defeat if it tried to push into the south of the country, where it would be crushed by Russian forces.

“The danger is that if Ukraine wants to launch an attack in the hope of a miracle, it risks heavy losses, loses irreplaceable equipment and, in the end, potentially loses more space than it controlled before its offensive,” he said.

“It is very difficult to conduct large-scale offensive operations without experienced soldiers,” added Davis, who has participated in tank combat exercises in Europe for many years.

He added that many professional Ukrainian soldiers died in battle, and non-professional conscripts arrived en masse to replace them.

He also noted that the Ukrainian forces will have to deal with “an enemy with complete superiority in manpower, aviation and artillery.”

“These are not activities that can be performed by forces with limited or untrained training at the platoon, company or battalion level,” he said.

Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said he was working to mobilize “millions of troops” equipped with Western weapons to liberate southern coastal areas vital to the country’s economy.
