UN Secretary-General António Guterres said that the organization intends to intensify efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine in order to cope with the difficulties that the coming winter will bring.
“The United Nations will continue to work in full solidarity with the Ukrainian people to mobilize all opportunities and resources, including among partner countries, to continue providing humanitarian assistance to people who need it. We will do our best to intensify our efforts to meet the hardships of winter,” Guterres said.
