Ukraine to receive over $1.75 billion in new assistance from the World Bank.

The World Bank has announced that it will provide more than $1.75 billion in additional assistance to Ukraine.

The World Bank statement says that US$500 million will be provided as a loan guaranteed by the United Kingdom, US$1.25 billion will be provided as a grant from the United States and US$15 million from Finland.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that international partners would provide Ukraine with $115 billion in long-term reconstruction support.
