The European Football Association (UEFA) announced today, Friday, the final list of nominees for the Best Manager in Europe award for 2022.
The list includes three coaches: Italian Carlo Ancelotti, manager of Real Madrid, Spaniard Josep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, and German Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool.

Coaches are judged on their impact throughout the season in all competitions, both domestic and international, at club or national team level.

Ancelotti is the most notable candidate for the award after leading Real Madrid to Champions League and Spanish League titles last season and winning the European Super Cup with the royal team last Wednesday.
Guardiola managed to win one title, the English Premier League with Manchester City, in addition to reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.
As for Klopp, he has won the League Cup and the FA Cup twice this year, in addition to reaching the Champions League final, in addition to losing the English Premier League title on City’s last matchday.
The winner of the European Coach of the Year award will be announced on August 25 in Istanbul during the group stage draw for the new Champions League season.
