On Saturday, Turkey announced the deportation of 3,038 illegal migrants to their countries between September 2 and 8.
And the Department of Immigration of the Turkish Interior Ministry said that among the deported migrants 1492 Afghans and 448 Pakistanis, and the rest were of different nationalities.
She added that the number of illegal migrants deported since the beginning of this year has reached 78,716.
She said border security measures prevented 4,352 immigrants from entering the country illegally between 2 and 8 September, bringing the number of immigrants who have been prevented from entering the country since the beginning of the year to 209,318.
