Tunisian star Anas Jaber, world No. 2, advanced to the third round of the Wimbledon Tennis Championship, the third Grand Slam, defeating Poland’s Katarzyna Cafa 6-4, 6-0.
Anas arrived at Wimbledon after winning in Berlin on grass earlier this month and she will be one of the top contenders for the title.

Tunisia will meet in the third round on Friday with Frenchwoman Diane Barry (77th in the world), who defeated Japan’s Mai Hontama 6-3, 6-2 in qualifying.
Anas reached the Wimbledon quarter-finals last year, her best result in four Grand Slams, and also reached the same round at the 2020 Australian Open.
