Former US President Donald Trump said the FBI ransacked his home in Florida.
In a statement on his Truth Social website, Trump said his home in Florida’s Mar-a-Lago resort “is under siege, raided and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.”
Trump called the FBI’s actions “a lawless harassment, a weaponization of the justice system, and an attack on far-left Democrats who don’t want me to run for president in 2024.”
It is noteworthy that a number of investigations have been opened against the former US president, some of which are related to his business and suspicions of tax evasion, and others to his activities as president and his role in the storming of the Capitol by his supporters in Washington in 2021.
