Tragic Bus Crash in Brazil

Introduction

On Sunday, Brazilian police said at least 7 people were killed and 36 were injured in the crash of a bus carrying fans of the Brazilian football club Corinthians.

Details of the Incident

It was indicated that the seven dead were members of a Corinthians fan association called (Gavues da Viel) as the bus traveled from the city of Taupate in the northeastern state of São Paulo to the city of Belo Horizonte to attend their team’s match, which during The week ended with a 1-1 draw against the Cruzeiro Club Twentieth Brazilian Premier League Championship on Saturday night.

According to the Associated Press, some passengers explained to local media that the bus driver lost control and rolled over while trying to avoid colliding with another bus.
