Three peacekeepers and seven protesters killed in DR Congo

Three members of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) and seven demonstrators were killed in Butembo on the second day of demonstrations against peacekeeping operations.

Colonel Paul Ngoma told AFP that the initial casualties were “three killed among the members of the Monosco, two Indians and a Moroccan and one wounded”, and on the part of the demonstrators “seven killed and several wounded”. injured”.
