The White House dismissed the suggestion that the Saudi government may have deliberately put US President Joe Biden at risk of contracting the Corona virus during his visit to the kingdom, calling the idea “ridiculous.”
He sent National Security Council strategic communications coordinator John Kirby a question “whether Washington rules out the possibility that the Saudi government exposed the president to the coronavirus.”
Kirby replied, “I don’t know where the idea came from. I don’t know what made you ask such a question. ridiculous.”
He added that “there is no basis for this and it should be seen as a ridiculous idea.”
The White House has previously refused to talk about how US President Joe Biden was exposed to the Corona virus. On Wednesday, Biden’s doctor confirmed that the US president had recovered from the virus.
