By analyzing elevation changes and other factors along a route, drivers in Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland who possess certain electric vehicles can use maps to better plan their trips and include appropriate car charging stops. Commuters using public transportation in Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovenia can now more easily locate stations in their vicinity and pin their preferred lines. In addition, passengers will be notified when it is time to exit the vehicle at their stop.

Look Around is also expanding to all of these countries starting today. It will provide high-resolution street-level imagery within the Maps app. This function is similar to Google’s Street View but has more fluid transitions when panning and zooming around the map.
