The head of the Kherson regional administration, Vladimir Leontiev, announced the death of the deputy head of the administration of Nova Kakhovka in the region, Vitaliy Gur, after an assassination attempt was made on him.
“As far as I know, Gore died,” said Leontiev. “He was in the hospital. Military doctors tried to save his life.”
He noted that Gur worked to rebuild the city and the region after the Ukrainian rocket bombardments, and worked “surprisingly well.”
Earlier that day, unidentified assailants attacked Gur near his house and shot him several times.
