Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said in an interview with Fox News that US authorities should deploy about 150,000 troops to the country’s borders to protect it from illegal immigrants.
“President Biden is sending 1,500 troops for paperwork and has no plans to defend the border. We need 15,000 or 150,000 to guard the border,” he said.
He added that the US authorities should send migrants by bus from their territory, because local cities, especially small ones, cannot accommodate all migrants.
