Syrian Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Muhammad Hassan Katana said that the next stage will be large-scale agricultural cooperation between Syria and Jordan.
During the Jordanian-Syrian Economic Forum in Damascus, Muhammad Hassan Qatna indicated that the cooperation will be especially in the field of production requirements and fertilizers, as well as use Jordan’s experience in palm cultivation, in addition to poultry farming through cooperation with specialized Jordanian companies. .
He stressed that the ministry is working to facilitate the exchange of agricultural products between the two countries, calling for the unification of plant and veterinary quarantine procedures, the adoption of a single sanitary certificate, access to commercial exchange in the field of agriculture, which is based not only on the exchange of goods for goods, but also includes the production needs that Syria needs.
