Swiss Economy Ministry spokesman Fabian Meinfisch confirmed that Bern did not directly supply Iran with any components for the production of drones, and Tehran may have purchased them from other markets.
“Such industrial and commercial goods have never been shipped from Switzerland to Iran,” Mainfish said. “Exports from Switzerland are prohibited due to sanctions. As a rule, these goods are produced in third countries and distributed around the world. Therefore, it should be assumed that Iran bought these goods on the world market.”
And earlier, the media reported that the Iranian Shaheed drone contains 52 foreign-made parts, including American and Swiss components.
