Sullivan: Washington, Seoul and Tokyo will respond to North Korean nuclear tests

US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said Washington, Seoul and Tokyo are working to develop a coordinated response to a possible North Korean nuclear test.

Sullivan said at a press conference aboard the US Air Force en route from Cambodia to Indonesia today, Sunday, that US President Joe Biden, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and South Korean President Yoon Seok Yul discussed at a trilateral summit in Cambodia their joint response to possible North Korean nuclear test. Tasked with working out the details of this response.

He explained: “I think I said that I did not intend to disclose (the contents of) this response because it is important that we leave space (for the three countries) to coordinate on various elements, which will include security, economics and of course the diplomatic (component )”.
