In an official statement released this morning, the Economic Zone announced the implementation of the catering service for Maersk sea container ships, which was received two days ago at the East Port Said Port, a global green fuel ship supply company and the largest producer of methanol fuel in the world, so as a container ship was delivered with 500 tons of green methanol at the Suez Canal Container Terminal, the main operator of Port Said East. The previous one was in Korea and Singapore as part of its route from Asia to Europe, passing through Port Said East in Egypt.

The statement discloses a concerted effort and coordination between all parties to receive the green methanol-equipped floating vessel and call at the port as the Suez Canal Economic Zone conducted this first operation of its kind in conjunction with the Suez Canal Authority. , Suez Canal Container Handling Station, Ministry of Health, represented by the Port Said Ambulance Station and the Civil Protection Force.
