Several Russian journalists confirmed to have been killed by Ukrainian intelligence

The head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Kirill Budanov, admitted today, Tuesday, that Ukrainian intelligence is behind several attacks on journalists in Russia.

In response to a question about whether the Ukrainian security services would prosecute Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov and philosopher Alexander Dugin, he added: “We have already prosecuted many Russian figures, be it the media or the public.”

In the same context, Budanov did not confirm whether Russian politician Zakhar Prilebin was on the list of Ukrainian targets, saying: “We cannot confirm or deny this.”

Many prominent Russian figures have been targeted by Ukrainian intelligence agencies and many have been killed since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, most notably journalist Daria Dugina, who died in a car bombing on August 20, 2022, and war correspondent Maxim Fomin, known as “Vladlin Tatarsky ”, who died on April 2 last year after an explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg, he was presented with a gift, and on May 6, the life of Russian writer Zakhar Prilebin became a target, as his driver was killed, and he survived after the explosion.
