The coach of the Saudi club “Al-Nasr” Frenchman Rudy Garcia commented on the contract of his team with the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, calling the situation extraordinary.
Garcia said during a press conference after Al Nasr’s match against Al Khalij (1-0) yesterday, Saturday, in the 11th week of the Saudi League: “I see that for a player like Cristiano Ronaldo , it is unusual to move to the Al Nasr Club and the Saudi League and this indicates that Saudi football is in great development.”
He added: “Ronaldo’s contract is a strong deal and we are waiting for his arrival to tailor him to us and make him enjoy playing for Al Nasr.
Last Friday, Al-Nasr club announced the inclusion of Ronaldo with a contract that extends until 2025.
Ronaldo is expected to arrive in Saudi Arabia today, Sunday, to join his new team.
