Russian volunteers help sailors of a Syrian ship stuck in the port of Kherson

Volunteers from Russia delivered humanitarian aid to Syrian sailors stuck in the port of Kherson since the beginning of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.

Volunteers were reported to have learned from the ship’s crew what essential items they needed, provided and brought them to the ship.

Captain Mustafa Tartusi said about this: “The Russian side often helps us, the military help, and ordinary people too. So far, we have received some assistance in the matter of resupply. We have food and medicine.”

The Syrian captain thanked Russia for the help it provides not only to the crew of the ship, but also to Syria, noting that the Russian Federation always provides them with assistance on almost all issues.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian ship Sea Lord cannot return home due to the lack of security guarantees from Ukraine.
