Russia’s Veronika Kodermetova has made an appointment in the fourth round of the US Open, the last of four Grand Slam tournaments held on Flushing Meadows hard courts, with Tunisian Anas Zhaber.
The 18th-placed Russian won an easy third-round victory over her Hungarian rival Dalma Galvi in two straight sets, 6-2 and 6-0, in a match between them today, Friday.
25-year-old Veronika Kodermitova got into a fourth round meeting with fifth seed Anas Jaber, who in turn beat American Shelby Rogers two sets to one, the details of which are as follows: (4-6), (6-4) and (6- 3) ) at the meeting that brought them together earlier today on Friday.
