Russian National Team Retains Position in FIFA Rankings

The Russian national team today, Thursday, retained its position in the monthly FIFA rankings, according to the organization’s website.

Russian Bear Team Holds 38th Place

The Russian Bear team remained in 38th place in the ranking of teams, while the Argentina national team is still in the lead in the ranking, while France and Brazil took second and third places, respectively.

Drop in Rankings

On June 29, Russia dropped from 37th to 38th place in the list of the best teams.

Lack of Matches

Since March 26 last year, the Russian team has not played a single match, and the last time Russian players took to the field in a friendly match against Iraq, which ended 2-0 in favor of the Russians.

Exclusion from Championships

It is noteworthy that on February 28, 2022, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) and the European Football Association (UEFA) excluded Russian teams and clubs from participation in international and European championships.
