Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin said that it is impossible to isolate Russia on the international stage, noting that the Russian Defense Ministry is interacting with more than 100 countries this year.
“The number of countries in the world cooperating with the Russian Ministry of Defense has exceeded 100. A striking example is the Lack of Isolation conference on international security, held in Moscow in August last year, which brought together more than 700 delegates from 70 countries and 6 international organizations.
He added that representatives of a number of non-governmental organizations, including Al-Gharbiya, also took part in this conference.
Among other examples, Fomin named Russia’s participation in the summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations in Cambodia and participation in meetings within the framework of the G20 summit on the Indonesian island of Bali in November this year.
He continued: “At today’s CMAA Plus meeting, we discussed topical security issues as equals. Our speech was received with interest, and the initiatives put forward by us for practical cooperation were reflected in the final document. “
