The Russian Defense Ministry said it repelled an attempt by Kyiv security forces to carry out terrorist attacks using drones at dawn on Tuesday on the capital, Moscow and the Bryansk region.

Details of the Incident

The department said in a statement: “Two drones were detected by air defense and suppressed by electronic warfare, which led to their fall over the territory of the Bryansk region. Two more drones were also detected and destroyed by air defenses over the territory. Moscow region”.

In turn, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed that air defense shot down two attack drones in the region of Krasnogorsk and Chastsov in the Moscow region.

Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel: “Air defense forces shot down two drones. One in the Krasnogorsk region, the other in the Chatsovsky region. Emergency services are working on the spot.”

Russian emergency services reported broken glass in a multi-storey residential building in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region.

A ministry spokesman said: “In Krasnogorsk, glass damage was recorded on several floors of a multi-storey residential building. Several cars parked near the house were also damaged.
