Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that the United States does not intend to seek a diplomatic settlement in Ukraine.
Antonov said in a statement released by the Russian embassy on Friday that “the US continues to pump more deadly weapons to its followers. And the allocation of large funds for these purposes testifies to one thing, namely, that Washington does not intend to look for ways to resolve the conflict diplomatically.”
“Domestic hawks are not worried that billions of dollars of taxpayer money are not being spent for the benefit of American citizens, but are being burned in the crucible of war,” Antonov added.
He continued: “In addition, this money disappears into the black hole of Kyiv’s corrupt, smuggling and fraudulent mechanisms. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the United States to keep silent about these negative phenomena.”
