Russia supports budget spending with new law

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on a new base for the Russian budget, which supports budget spending.

The text of the law is published on the electronic portal of legal information The law provides for amendments to the current norm for the next two years.

The new law allows spending 8 trillion rubles (about $131 billion) of oil and gas revenues over 3 years, and from 2026 the amount will increase by 4% annually.

The President of Russia also signed a law to increase the tax burden on the country’s oil and gas industry in 2023-2025, according to which Gazprom will have to pay additional funds in the amount of 1.8 trillion rubles in the period 2023-2025, an average of 50 billion rubles ., monthly.
