Russia confirms that no additional measures will be applied to arrivals from China

The head of the Federal Supervisory Authority of Russia, Anna Popova, said that there are no risks for Russians from opening the border with China, and there is no need to introduce any additional measures against those arriving from China.

“As of today, we do not see any additional risks and we do not take any additional measures regarding persons arriving from China. We consider this to be inexpedient,” said Russia-24 Popova.

She pointed out that to this day there is no mass displacement of people after China opened its borders.

A few days ago, the Chinese authorities reopened their borders after 3 years of restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic and lifted the quarantine for those arriving on their lands.
