Reuters reported, citing informed sources, that the European Union may ban RT broadcasts in Arabic in its countries as part of a new package of sanctions against Russia.
The agency said: “The Union may ban Russia’s Arab service on its territory today.”
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the blocking of Sputnik and RT by the West part of a hybrid war against Russia that began long before the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine.
