Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the creation of a fund to support participants in the special operation and combatants in the Donbas since 2014.
According to the resolution, which was published today, on Monday, on the official portal of legal information, the fund will support persons who took part in a special military operation, as well as “persons who, in accordance with the decisions of the state authorities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, participated in military operations as part of the armed forces of the two republics, since May 11, 2014.
In addition, the fund will provide assistance to family members of those who died in the line of duty or after being discharged from military service, if the death occurred as a result of an injury or illness received while participating in hostilities.
