Putin, Aliyev and Pashinyan at a trilateral meeting in Sochi on October 31

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will hold trilateral talks in Sochi on October 31, the Kremlin press service reported.

“It is planned to review the implementation of the trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia dated November 9, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, which are further steps to strengthen stability and security in the Caucasus region,” the Kremlin added. The issues of restoration and development of trade and economic relations and transport will also be discussed.

The Kremlin confirmed that separate talks between Putin, Pashinyan and Aliyev are also planned.

It is noteworthy that the meeting will take place on the initiative of the Russian side.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Armenia said that the summit is planned to be held on October 31 in Sochi.

In addition, an extraordinary meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council was held on Friday. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also clarified that the event was organized, among other things, in preparation for the trilateral meeting.
