The authorities reported that the first batch of Russian citizens was extradited and handed over to local residents in the city of Kobyansk, Kharkiv region, against the backdrop of a celebration in the assembly hall of the local registry office.
The ceremony of transferring nationalities to the residents was attended by the head of the administration of the Kharkiv region Vitaly Ganchev and the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Artem Turov, who congratulated the new citizens of Russia.
Deputy Turov emphasized that this day is historical for the region: “We are very pleased that new compatriots have joined our large multinational family in the Russian Federation. We have one history, we are one people, we have a common future. “
Several points for receiving documents for obtaining Russian citizenship have been opened on the liberated lands of Kobyansk, where about 230 thousand people live.
