A Turkish Foreign Ministry source said today that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
The source indicated that during the conversation, the Turkish and American ministers discussed the situation in Russia.
The source did not provide any other details.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a speech on Saturday morning that those who organized the armed rebellion and turned weapons against their comrades-in-arms have betrayed Russia and will not escape punishment.
