Paris Saint-Germain officially unveils new manager

French champions Paris Saint-Germain announced today, Tuesday, the appointment of Christophe Galtier as technical director of the team, who will replace Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino, who was fired from his post.

Qatar Nasser Al Khulaifi, President of the Paris Club, held a press conference to present two of his cases to the media.

Al-Khelaifi said: “We are starting a new era with new ambitions with his two sons and he is happy and proud to sign him and we have followed him well in his previous experiences with Saint Etienne and Nice.”

“Every Frenchman should be proud of him and he will help us achieve the goals of the club,” added the president of Paris Saint-Germain.

Al Qatari concluded: “We also thank former coach Mauricio Pochettino for his work and wish him well.”

For his part, Galti said: “I am very happy and proud. I arrived 45 minutes ago at Princes Park and touched the club’s heritage.”

He added: “I hope the experience is positive. There are many big goals and ambitions. I am ready for this task, but I will not do it alone, rather the spirit of the group is needed.

55-year-old Christophe Galteth concluded: “I am ready for all questions and I understand how many doubts I have.”
