Over 200 Chinese Military Aircraft Tracked in Taiwan’s Airspace in Recent Weeks

The Taiwanese military has been monitoring 217 Chinese military aircraft in its airspace since early July this year.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Taiwan detected 38 and 30 Chinese aircraft, respectively, the largest daily number of aircraft since April last year.

The Taiwan Ministry of Defense has repeatedly stated that Chinese aircraft entered the zone of responsibility of the Taiwanese air defense.

The aircraft that entered Taiwan’s airspace included fighter jets, bombers, electronic warfare aircraft, reconnaissance drones, as well as helicopters and anti-submarine aircraft.

Taiwan has also recorded Chinese warships entering its waters 71 times since the beginning of this month.
